New Term Starts

1

This evening is the first rehearsal of the new term – 8pm in the Small Hall, Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton. Apparently we have had a lot of interest over the summer from new people who would like to join – even a couple of men! It is going to be interesting to see how many turn up. Like most choirs, we currently have many more women than men which means that the men need to work a little harder to ensure that the balance is right.

There is still an opportunity to join – come along and try us out if you are interested – there are no fees and the only requirement is that you love singing. For more information, select About the Choir from the menu above.

Wedding Reception

Title: Wedding Reception
Location: Southampton
Description: Performance at a wedding reception

We have been asked to sing at a wedding reception in a couple of weeks time – it is the wedding of a friend of a choir member. No doubt we will need to start rehearsing for it as soon as we get back, but suspect we will just need to polish some of the songs we already know – there isn’t really time to learn new stuff. More details to follow.

Lookin good!

Nice one Mark!  If this is a blog then I’ve broken my duck!  Sorry to have missed you Monday night but we (the family) were all at the Mayflower for a night of Les Miserables, so we certainly enjoyed ourselves.

This looks good to me – as far as I’m concerned anything that is done to keep our site fresh is good.  No such thing as bad publicity!

Welcome to the new site

Welcome to the new web site of Central Hall Community Gospel Choir. The old site was getting a little out of date and needed a refresh, so we decided to go for a blog style. Hopefully it will be easier to keep up to date with regular relevant information about the choir and what it has been up to.

You will find more information in the About page, including how to get involved, as well as future events in the Calendar.
